Ingredients
- 2 medium sweet potatoes, halved
- ¼ cup sunflower oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp dried rosemary
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
Step 1: Add garlic powder, dried rosemary, smoked paprika, salt, and ground pepper to a small bowl. Stir to combine (Optional: crush the spices using a mortar and pestle). Set aside.

Step 2: Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C then lay some foil down on a large baking sheet. Spray generously with cooking spray.

Step 3: Mix the prepared seasoning with the sunflower oil.

Step 4: Carefully cut each sweet potato in half, lengthwise.

Step 5: Brush each sweet potato all over with the seasoned oil then place each potato, cut side down, on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 6: Bake for 1hr 15 mins in the preheated oven on the middle rack.
Let rest for 10 mins before removing from the sheet pan.
